The standard grips are blocky, and the Carry grips feel so much better in my hand. But, Sig doesn’t sell the Carry grips separately, and I don’t even know if they’ll fit the standard (from what I could see, they should). In my search, I found a lot of people that like the Armory Craft grips, but couldn’t find anyone that reviewed the GG grips (aside from 1 other review here). Looking at the two grips, it appeared that the GG’s were going to be more of what I was looking for; a greater radius reduction into the backstrap and a recess for the magazine release. I received them today, and I was correct �� They are almost identical in size to the Rosewoods that came on my Carry Custom Work gun. The diameter is the real feel difference; measured directly below the trigger guard, the diameter is 5-1/8″ with the standard grips and 4-7/8″ with the GG grips. Very noticeable!!
